How can you help Farm Animals?
Support the efforts of my dear friend Jessica Carroll:
“This will be my 7th walk for Farm Animals! I couldn’t be happier to support such an amazing organization who changed my life when I lived at their Orland shelter as an intern in 2006. With 3 sanctuaries across the U.S they have rescued thousands of animals from abuse and educated countless people about making compassionate vegan choices. I had the pleasure of working at their Orland shelter one summer giving tours of the farm, if you haven’t been you must! http://www.farmsanctuary.org/the-sanctuaries/orland-ca/tours
Do you know about Factory Farming? It’s the system used 98% of the time to raise animals for food in the United States. It is bad for the environment, terrible for our health, and of course the worst for the animals. Going vegan is one of the most powerful things we can do to say NO to this terrible system. After all if we can live a happy healthy life without harming others why wouldn’t we choose this? Please learn more here: www.farmsanctuary.org/learn/factory-farming
I’m walking with Farm Sanctuary to give animals a voice.
I’m walking for the billions of animals stuck in cages so small they can’t even turn around.
I’m walking because I’m certain that we will look back on the way we treat animals with shame and disgust.
Please support my participation in the Walk for Farm Animals by making a donation to my page. We have the power to create a more compassionate world and a donation to my page will definitely make the world a kinder place.”

Some reasons we help these amazing animals:
Make the connection between these animals and how they end up on the dinner plate here.
Need more convincing? Visit a sanctuary near you.
You will meet some of the most wonderful animals and you will hear their incredible stories.
Many have survived a life of cruelty, torture and pain.
Now they are so fortunate to live their lives in peace and contentment.
“…I’m as happy as a pig in mud, but I would have normally been as horrible, angry, and sad as a pig turned into bacon.” – Aquila Robinson
Sometimes words and photos are just not enough… so last weekend we threw a party! A Tofu Scramble Party! Friends, family, and strangers were invited out to the Tofu Scramble and Mimosa party in order to benefit Farm Sanctuary.
Let’s get Scramblin’: 1… 2.. 3… GO!
The kitchen was a frenzy of chopping, slicing, and dicing as we cooked up a variety of different scrambles: southwestern scramble, veggie scramble, and a wonderfully delicious curry-peanut sauce scramble. (Do you know how much tofu feeds 15 people? 12 lbs.)
The guests were extremely satisfied with their meal, but I think the mimosas helped with their happiness too.
Seriously, we all had some really, really full bellies.
None of the scramble went to waste too!
So how about it? Will you donate to help farm animals around the United States of America? Please support our efforts to protect these wonderful animals from a lifetime of suffering and please have compassion for all and Walk for Farm Animals in San Francisco, CA!

Thank you for your support. “Farm animals feel pleasure and sadness, excitement and resentment, depression, fear, and pain. They are far more aware and intelligent than we ever imagined…they are individuals in their own right.” — Dr. Jane Goodall ❤
